In our own refinery and packing unit on the outskirts of Palakkad — the rice bowl of Kerala. Shapthagiri Refineries has worked here since 1987.

Pooram is roasted coconut oil: 100% pure, from superior Kerala coconuts, roasted for a richer aroma and taste, with a pleasing flavour, a light colour and a longer shelf life than ordinary coconut oil. Pooram Life is our cold pressed range — coconut, groundnut and sesame oils pressed at a low temperature without added heat.

Pooram comes in 1 L and 500 ml pouches and 200 ml pouches in packs of 5; 1 L and 500 ml PET bottles, 200 ml in packs of 5 and 100 ml in packs of 10; 1 L and 500 ml HDPE bottles; and a 5 L can. Pooram Life comes in 1 L and 500 ml PET bottles and 200 ml packs of 5. Sun Classic sunflower oil comes in a 1 L pouch and a 5 L can, Diya pooja oil from 100 ml packs of 10 up to a 5 L can, and our hair oil in 100 ml and 200 ml bottles.

Every product undergoes stringent tests in our own well-equipped laboratory before packing, and every batch is also tested in laboratories under the Coconut Development Board of India. Nothing ships until it passes.

On our semi-automatic packing unit — up to 5,000 cartons a day — with minimum human handling, so products are packed under highly hygienic conditions. Every pack is sealed with zero leakage and boxed in robust cartons that resist tampering.

Yes. Diya Pooja Oil is made for lighting lamps — not for cooking or consumption. Our hair oil, in 100 ml and 200 ml bottles, is for external use.
